Pakistan Wins World Youth Scrabble Team Title Again

ISLAMABAD: (Sports Desk) – Pakistan has once again demonstrated its strength in competitive Scrabble by winning the World Team Title for the seventh time at the 21st World Youth Scrabble Championship.

Pakistani players dominated the team competition, securing the top position and once again emerging as the country with the most team titles in the championship’s history.

In the individual event, Australia’s Dineth Fernando claimed the overall world championship.

Pakistan also produced an impressive performance across the age-group categories, with three players finishing among the overall top 10.

Young Pakistani Players Shine

Ahmed Salman secured the world title in the Under-16 category, while Ahad Saulat Fatemi emerged victorious in the Under-14 competition.

In the Under-12 category, Pakistan’s Mustafa Farhan finished in second place.

The country’s youngest participant, Taimur Wasim, added another major achievement by winning the Under-10 world title. Taimur had also impressed at last year’s championship, where he claimed the Under-8 world crown.

The 21st World Youth Scrabble Championship featured 183 players from 11 countries, providing young competitors from around the world with an opportunity to showcase their skills.

Pakistan’s strong showing across team and individual competitions further highlighted the country’s growing reputation in international youth Scrabble.
