Gold Rate Today Pakistan: Price Soars by Rs11,300 Per Tola
24-Karat Gold Crosses Rs449,000 Per Tola Amid Strong International Rally
Pakistan – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – Gold rate today Pakistan saw a big jump, surprising buyers and sellers across the local market. On Thursday, the price of 24-karat gold per tola climbed by Rs11,300, reaching Rs449,236. This sudden rise has caught the attention of jewellers, investors, and everyday shoppers alike.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association shared these fresh figures. According to their report, the pace of the increase was much faster than usual. Many buyers were left checking rates twice before making a purchase.
Along with the tola rate, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also moved up. It increased by Rs9,688, taking the new price to Rs385,147. This kind of jump is rare within a single trading day.
The 22-karat gold category also felt the heat. The rate for 10 grams rose by Rs8,881, settling at Rs353,064. Since 22-karat gold is widely used in everyday jewellery, this hike will likely affect regular household buying decisions.
So, what pushed prices up so quickly? The answer lies in the international market. Gold prices abroad increased by US$113, reaching US$4,268 per ounce. Since local prices closely follow global trends, this spike directly impacted the domestic market as well.
Silver also joined the rally, though on a smaller scale. In the local market, silver per tola rose by Rs35, reaching Rs6,659. Meanwhile, 10 grams of silver increased by Rs30, now priced at Rs5,709.
On the global stage, silver prices moved up too. The rate increased by US$0.35, taking it to US$61.80 per ounce. Though the rise seems small in numbers, it still reflects the broader trend of rising precious metal prices worldwide.
Experts believe that global economic uncertainty often drives people toward gold and silver. These metals are seen as safe options during unstable times. When investors feel worried about currency values or market stability, many turn to gold as a trusted backup.
For everyday buyers in Pakistan, this sudden rise means higher costs for wedding jewellery, gifts, and personal investment. Many families plan big purchases around price dips, so today’s increase might delay some buying decisions.
Jewellers across major cities have already updated their price boards. Customers visiting shops are advised to confirm the latest rates before finalizing any deal, since prices can shift more than once during the day.
Financial analysts suggest keeping an eye on international market movements, since local prices usually mirror them within hours. If global gold prices continue rising, Pakistan’s local rates could see further changes soon.
For now, the gold rate today Pakistan stands notably higher than previous days, marking one of the sharper single-day increases seen recently. Buyers and investors are watching closely to see whether this trend continues or settles down in the coming days.
Anyone planning a gold or silver purchase should stay updated through trusted sources, as rates may adjust again based on international developments.
