Pakistan's textile industry achieves new export milestone

Islamabad: (Finance Reporter) – Pakistan’s textile sector recorded its highest-ever monthly export earnings in July 2026, with exports reaching $1.833 billion, despite ongoing regional uncertainty.

According to official figures, textile exports increased by 43% month-on-month, rising from $1.282 billion in June 2026 to $1.833 billion in July 2026.

On an annual basis, exports grew by 9.11%, compared with $1.68 billion recorded in July 2025, highlighting continued resilience in the country’s largest export industry.

For the fiscal year 2025–26, Pakistan’s textile exports totalled $17.97 billion, reflecting a modest 0.34% increase over the previous fiscal year.

In comparison, textile exports stood at $17.91 billion during FY2024–25.

The latest figures underscore the textile sector’s strong performance, with exporters maintaining growth despite challenging global market conditions and regional geopolitical uncertainties.
