Mastung IBO Terrorists Killed as Security Forces Crush Indian-Backed Network

Mastung – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – In a fresh blow to militancy, Mastung IBO terrorists killed on Friday numbered four, as security forces carried out another successful intelligence-based operation in Balochistan. The slain men belonged to the India-backed outfit known as Fitna al-Hindustan.

The operation took place in the Mastung area, a region that has seen repeated militant activity in recent months. Officials say the raid was carried out purely on the basis of solid intelligence input.

Security sources shared that the clash left several other terrorists wounded. Troops also managed to detain a number of suspects believed to have helped the group carry out its activities.

From the bodies of the dead militants, forces recovered a large stockpile of weapons and ammunition. Officials confirmed that much of this equipment was traced back to Indian manufacturing, further strengthening claims of foreign backing.

This latest raid falls under the wider “Operation Al Azm,” a nationwide counter-terrorism drive. Security forces say the campaign has been sped up in recent weeks to tighten pressure on militant networks operating across the province.

This latest strike comes just a day after another major operation in the same district. On Thursday, forces killed six suspected militants in the KhadKocha area, also part of Mastung.

That operation was notable for a disturbing detail. Among those arrested were both male and female suicide bombers, along with a local facilitator who had allegedly helped plan the attack.

Officials say the Thursday raid, like Friday’s, was based on credible intelligence. All six militants killed were confirmed members of the same India-linked group, Fitna al-Hindustan.

Reacting to the news, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the courage and skill shown by security personnel. He called the Friday operation a clear example of professionalism under pressure.

In his statement, Naqvi said the whole nation stands firmly behind its armed forces. He stressed that Pakistan will not back down in its fight against terrorism.

He further noted that security forces are achieving real results in Balochistan. According to him, the operations are proving both effective and consistent in weakening militant groups.

Naqvi also addressed a growing concern — the possible links between two banned outfits. He said any cooperation between Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij will never be allowed to disturb Pakistan’s peace.

His comments reflect a firm government stance. Officials believe that even if these groups try to join forces, security agencies are prepared to counter any joint threat.

As operations continue across Balochistan, officials say more intelligence-based raids are expected in the coming days. The focus remains on dismantling militant networks before they can regroup or plan fresh attacks.
