Dengue Patient Detected in Faisalabad as Cases Rise Across Punjab
Faisalabad: (Our Correspondent) – A dengue virus case has been confirmed in a patient receiving treatment at Allied Hospital-I in Faisalabad, according to health officials.
The affected individual is a 47-year-old resident of Chiniot district who has been shifted to the hospital’s isolation ward for further care and monitoring.

With the latest detection, the number of dengue cases reported this year has increased to seven.
Health authorities said two cases have been reported from Faisalabad district and two from Chiniot district, while one case each has emerged from Sheikhupura, Lahore and Rawalpindi.
Officials are continuing monitoring and precautionary measures to control the spread of dengue and prevent further infections.
