Imran Khan Receives Eye Treatment, Returns to Jail

 Islamabad: (Web Desk) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Sunday night for a scheduled eye treatment and was later shifted back to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.

According to a statement issued by the hospital administration, doctors completed a follow-up examination and administered his fifth intravitreal eye injection. Medical reports, including an optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan, showed noticeable improvement in his condition.

PIMS officials said all necessary precautions were observed before the procedure, which was carried out as a daycare surgery. Following the successful treatment, Khan was declared medically fit and returned to jail. Doctors have recommended continued monitoring and future follow-up consultations, while confirming that the entire treatment process was completed without any complications.
