ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistani actress Sanam Saeed has shared the reasons behind her decision to join the drama serial Mein Manto Nahi Hoon, marking her return to television after a long break.

Speaking in a recent interview on PTV, she said the role attracted her because she would be portraying a teacher for the first time, which felt refreshing compared to her previous work. She also highlighted her excitement about working with Humayun Saeed and Sajal Aly, mentioning that she had never collaborated with Sajal before.

Sanam further explained that after being away from regular TV projects for years, she was hesitant to take on another demanding lead role due to the exhausting schedules. She noted that the project’s shorter shooting timeline and the involvement of director Nadeem Baig made the offer more appealing. She also shared that she had previously declined his offers but eventually agreed when the opportunity came again, adding that she even experimented with her character’s look, including curly hair. During the interview, she also reflected on the importance of social media in the entertainment industry, saying visibility is now essential for staying relevant in a highly competitive space.
