Six Terrorists Killed Panjgur in ISPR IBO Operation
Security Forces Kill Six Terrorists in Panjgur as ISPR Confirms India-Backed Militants Neutralised
IBO – (Web Desk) – Security forces killed six terrorists in Panjgur, Balochistan, in a targeted intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted on the night of June 3-4, 2026. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that all six belonged to India-sponsored militant group Fitna al-Hindustan.
According to ISPR, the operation was launched after credible intelligence reports confirmed the presence of militants in the Panjgur district. Security forces moved in and engaged multiple terrorist hideouts at the same time.
After a heavy exchange of fire, all six terrorists were killed on the spot. Weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle were also recovered from the site.
ISPR said the killed terrorists were actively involved in several terrorist attacks in the region. Sanitisation operations are now underway to clear any remaining militant presence in the area.
This operation came just a day after security forces conducted two separate IBOs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan and Mohmand districts. Four more Fitna al-Khawarij militants linked to India were killed in those operations.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istehkam. The campaign was approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan and will continue at full pace.
Security operations in Balochistan have intensified following a deadly explosion near a railway track in Quetta on May 24, 2026. That blast martyred at least 14 people, including three Frontier Corps personnel.
Pakistan has seen a sharp increase in terrorist activity in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since the Afghan Taliban took power in 2021. The government has repeatedly accused India of sponsoring proxy militant groups operating inside Pakistan.
