27 Afghan Nationals Arrested Karachi in District West Crackdown

Afghan nationals arrested Karachi during District West police operation against illegal immigrants across multiple areas of the city.

Karachi – (Web Desk) – Afghan nationals arrested Karachi as District West Police launched a targeted crackdown against illegal immigrants over the past three days.

Police carried out operations in several areas of Karachi and detained 27 Afghan nationals during routine checks and intelligence-based actions.

According to officials, eight individuals were taken into custody from Gulshan-e-Maymar, seven from Manghopir, six from Iqbal Market, and three from Mominabad. Two more were detained during an operation in Orangi Town.

All detained Afghan nationals were shifted to the Afghan refugee camp for further processing. Authorities confirmed that legal procedures are now underway at the GTC College refugee camp.

Police said the action is part of ongoing efforts to monitor and regulate illegal residency in the city.
