Sindh Government Announces Revised Three Day Eidul Azha Holiday Schedule
KARACHI: (Web Desk) – The Government of Sindh has revised its Eidul Azha holiday schedule and officially announced a three day public holiday from May 26 to May 28 after correcting an earlier notification that included Friday as an additional holiday.
Provincial authorities said the change was made to align Sindh’s holiday schedule with the federal government’s announcement regarding Eidul Azha holidays across the country.

According to a corrigendum issued on May 23 by Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah public holidays will be observed across the province on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday for Eid celebrations.
The notification stated that departments and offices involved in preparations for the financial year 2026 27 budget will remain exempt from the holiday schedule.
Officials further clarified that government offices across Sindh will observe work from home on Friday May 29 instead of a complete public holiday.
Meanwhile the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has already announced four Eid holidays from May 26 to May 29 according to a notification issued earlier.
