Authorities Ban Laser Lights And Pigeon Flying Near Airbases Immediately

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – The Government of Punjab has imposed Section 144 for 30 days in areas surrounding all Pakistan Air Force air bases and airports across the province to strengthen security and ensure safer flight operations.

According to the Punjab Home Department, the restrictions will apply within a 13-kilometer radius of air bases and airports. Authorities have completely banned pigeon flying competitions, the use of laser lights, and the dumping of animal hides in these areas, stating that such activities can create serious risks for aircraft movement and aviation safety.

Section 144 Imposed In Quetta Amid Security Concerns

Officials said the decision was taken to safeguard human lives, protect public property, and reduce potential hazards affecting aviation operations. The government believes these preventive measures are necessary to maintain secure and uninterrupted flight activity across sensitive locations.

The Home Department further stated that law-enforcement agencies have been instructed to strictly enforce the orders and ensure full public compliance during the restriction period.
