ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Monday evening to discuss bilateral relations and the evolving situation in the Middle East.
During the call, both leaders exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, with particular focus on ongoing peace efforts supported by Pakistan. The discussion also highlighted the importance of diplomatic engagement in addressing regional challenges.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed appreciation for Qatar’s support of Pakistan’s peace initiatives and reiterated Islamabad’s commitment to resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy. Both sides stressed the need to maintain ceasefires, avoid escalation, and promote long-term regional stability.
