BAKU: (Web Desk) – Maryam Nawaz has arrived in Baku on an official visit to Azerbaijan, where she is set to represent Pakistan at the World Urban Forum.
During the visit, the Punjab chief minister is also expected to hold an important meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Several senior members of the Punjab government are accompanying Maryam Nawaz on the visit, including Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Information Minister Azma Bukhari, Housing Minister Bilal Yasin, Sports Minister Faisal Ayub, Agriculture Minister Ashiq Hussain Kirmani and Special Assistant Ali Dar.

Officials say the visit is expected to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in areas including urban development, infrastructure and regional collaboration.
The World Urban Forum brings together global leaders, policymakers and development experts to discuss sustainable cities, housing challenges and future urban planning strategies.
