500,000 Students Failed Matric 2025 — IBCC Report Reveals Crisis
IBCC – (Web Desk) – A shocking report by the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen confirms that 500,000 students failed matric 2025 across Pakistan. The results have raised serious concerns about the quality of education in the country.
Punjab recorded the highest number of failures, with over 358,000 students unable to clear their matriculation exams. This makes Punjab the most affected province in the entire country.
In Lahore Board alone, 87,419 students were declared failed. Meanwhile, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 80,558 students out of 444,000 candidates could not pass their exams.
Sindh saw around 51,000 failures out of 450,000 candidates. The Quetta Board reported 9,797 failed students out of 78,839. The Federal Board recorded 15,798 failures out of 137,000 candidates.
Education experts say these results clearly point to deep problems in teaching quality and student preparation. They are calling for urgent changes in the national curriculum and better teacher training programs across all provinces.
