DG ISPR Praises Armed Forces On Marka-e-Haq Anniversary
Pakistan Armed Forces Defeated Much Stronger Enemy Says ISPR Chief
RAWALPINDI: (Web Desk) – Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry congratulated the nation and the Pakistan Armed Forces on the completion of one year since Marka-e-Haq, stating that Pakistan’s military successfully confronted and defeated what he described as an enemy “five times bigger.”
Addressing a high-profile press conference in Rawalpindi, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations thanked Allah Almighty for what he termed a major national achievement and praised the courage, professionalism and dedication of the armed forces.
He said the entire nation paid tribute to Pakistan’s military on the first anniversary of the Battle of Haq, with particular appreciation for the role and operational performance of the Pakistan Air Force during the conflict.
According to the ISPR chief, the Pakistan Air Force demonstrated exceptional combat readiness and showcased its operational capabilities to the world under highly challenging conditions. He added that the force’s rapid response and preparedness strengthened national confidence in Pakistan’s defence system.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully aware of the changing geopolitical and security environment in the region and continue to adapt their strategies accordingly.
He noted that the military is consistently investing in modern technologies, advanced defence systems and professional training to maintain preparedness and effectively tackle future security challenges.
The briefing marked one year since Marka-e-Haq, with military leadership highlighting operational achievements, strategic preparedness and what officials described as the successful outcomes of the conflict.
