LAHORE: (Web Desk) – In the first eliminator of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, Hyderabad Kingsmen delivered a dominant performance, defeating Multan Sultans by 8 wickets and knocking them out of the tournament.
At Gaddafi Stadium, Multan Sultans were invited to bat first after losing the toss. They posted 159 for 9 in 20 overs, with captain Shan Masood playing a key unbeaten innings of 69 runs off 46 balls. Sahibzada Farhan contributed 15, Steve Smith scored 13, and Muhammad Nawaz added 18 runs.
For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Muhammad Ali, Haneen Shah, and Akif Javed picked up two wickets each, restricting the opposition to a below-par total.

In response, Hyderabad Kingsmen chased down the target comfortably in just 16 overs, losing only 2 wickets. Usman Khan starred with a blistering 64 off 35 balls, while Moaz Sadaqat also remained unbeaten on 64. Saim Ayub contributed an unbeaten 15 runs to seal the victory.
With this defeat, Multan Sultans were eliminated from PSL 11, ending their campaign in the tournament.
Hyderabad Kingsmen will now face Islamabad United in Eliminator 2 on Friday, with the winner advancing to the final against Peshawar Zalmi, who secured their place after defeating Islamabad United in the qualifiers.
