KARACHI: (Web Desk) – Reports of poor management during the ongoing matriculation examinations in Karachi intensified on Saturday after claims surfaced that the Physics paper had been leaked through WhatsApp, according to 24NewsHD.
Sources revealed that several candidates were freely using mobile phones inside examination halls, raising serious concerns about the credibility of the process.
The Physics exam for 10th-grade students was conducted in the morning session, which began at 9:30 am and ended at 1:30 pm. Meanwhile, general science papers for both 9th and 10th classes are scheduled for the second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Students had been instructed to carry their admit cards, as entry without them was strictly prohibited.

Earlier, the third day of exams had already drawn criticism due to complaints of disorganization, cheating incidents, and lack of proper facilities at multiple centers. Authorities even registered a police case after allegations emerged that one exam center was enabling cheating in return for bribes.
Under the Board of Secondary Education Karachi, Biology exams for classes IX and X were conducted across 521 centers, with over 385,000 students participating. Section 144 was enforced around exam venues to maintain discipline.
Despite inspections by Board Chairman Ghulam Hussain Soho, irregularities continued to be reported from various areas. In Malir, students allegedly cheated collectively using mobile phones, while at a government school in Kala Board, invigilators reportedly failed to prevent open cheating.
