Russia Applauds Pakistan Role in US Iran Peace Talks Efforts
MOSCOW: (Web Desk) – Russia has publicly commended Pakistan for its crucial role in facilitating dialogue during the ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran, signaling Islamabad’s rising importance in global diplomacy.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in helping create a constructive environment for negotiations between Washington and Tehran. He emphasized that Moscow values Islamabad’s contribution in easing tensions and encouraging diplomatic engagement.
Peskov also voiced optimism that the discussions would yield positive outcomes, reinforcing Pakistan’s significance as a mediator during a delicate ceasefire phase.

Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has been central to these diplomatic efforts, engaging in direct communication with both sides and leading a delegation to Tehran. His recent visit aimed to maintain momentum and advance dialogue following the initial round of negotiations.
