ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Jahandad Khan, representing Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League season 11, has been fined 10 percent of his match fee for breaching the league’s code of conduct. The incident occurred during a match against Rawalpindi, where the player was found to have violated Clause 2.5, which relates to inappropriate behavior on the field.

According to officials, the penalty was imposed by the match referee after reviewing the situation. The breach took place when Jahandad celebrated in an unsuitable manner following the dismissal of Saad Masood. The action was deemed inconsistent with the spirit of the game, leading to disciplinary action.

Saim Ayub, a young player of the Hyderabad Kingsmen team of the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League, has said that the atmosphere in the team is positive and the players are focusing on improving their performance rather than results.

Talking to a private TV, Saim Ayub said that despite the bad start, the atmosphere in the dressing room is very good and it has improved further. We are not thinking about the result at the moment, we are thinking about how we can improve our work.

He admitted that the team made mistakes in the initial matches but the players are working to correct these mistakes.

Talking about the team’s performance, Saim Ayub said that the way we lost the last 2 matches, it happens, players make mistakes, we are trying to reduce the mistakes that are being made in every match and improve.

Referring to the uncertainty of the tournament, he said that ups and downs happen to every team. Last year, Islamabad won the first 5 matches and lost the last 5, while Lahore did not know until the last match whether they would qualify or not, but they won the tournament.
