Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad – (Web Desk) – The post of vice chancellor at Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad is still vacant. Because of this delay, many important administrative tasks at the university have slowed down.
Several student services are now on hold. These include the awarding of degrees, scholarship processing, and the allotment of hostel rooms.
Due to these problems, a group of students staged a protest outside the main gate of the university on Wednesday. The students asked the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to appoint a vice chancellor without further delay.
On the other hand, the ministry officials said that the summary for the appointment of a new VC had been sent to the Prime Minister’s Office.
The seat of a vice-chancellor has been lying vacant since the appointment of Dr. Niaz Akhtar as the HEC chairman.
