Pakistani Forces Target Militants, Conduct Operations Along Afghan Border

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistan Army continued ground and aerial operations against militants along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border on Monday, targeting key militant positions and ammunition depots as part of the ongoing campaign Ghazab-lil-Haq.

According to a private news channel, Pakistani forces destroyed ammunition depots at Afghanistan’s Shaheen Base and struck positions held by militants identified as Fitna-al-Khawarij and Afghan Taliban elements, forcing them to retreat from key border posts.

Security sources confirmed that posts near South Waziristan in the Shawal region were destroyed with explosives, and operations will continue until objectives are achieved. Forces also targeted Taliban positions supported by Fitna-al-Hindustan across the border.

Meanwhile, large-scale search and combing operations were conducted in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, focusing on criminal elements and undocumented Afghan nationals. Police operating in Korral, Sumbal, Aabpara, Secretariat, and Golra jurisdictions arrested 43 suspicious individuals.

Authorities also seized 37 motorcycles and 2 vehicles, which were moved to police stations for further investigation as part of the broader security crackdown.
