Pakistan and United States Pledge Stronger Trade and Investment Partnership
WASHINGTON: (Web Desk) – Pakistan and the United States have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral economic ties, with a particular focus on expanding cooperation in trade and investment.
The understanding was reached during a meeting in Washington between a Pakistani delegation led by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick at the United States Department of Commerce.
During the discussions, both sides emphasized the importance of sustained engagement and agreed to deepen collaboration on investment in key sectors and major development projects in the months ahead.
Muhammad Aurangzeb appreciated the efforts of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for organizing the upcoming US-Pakistan Trade and Investment Forum scheduled for the 31st of next month. The forum is expected to bring together leading companies and investors from both countries to explore new business opportunities and partnerships.

The Finance Minister expressed optimism that the Office of the US Commerce Secretary would also actively participate in the forum, further reinforcing economic dialogue and commercial cooperation between the two nations.
Both sides viewed enhanced economic engagement as a positive step toward building a more robust and mutually beneficial partnership.
