Medical Team Begins Imran Khan’s Jail Checkup

Imran Khan’s Health Review Underway at Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI: (Web Desk) – A high-level medical team comprising senior doctors from leading hospitals in Islamabad has begun a comprehensive medical examination of Imran Khan, founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, at Adiala Jail, sources confirmed on Sunday.

According to sources, despite a formal invitation extended by the government and a prolonged wait, no senior PTI leader arrived at the jail during the medical check-up process. The examination is being carried out under strict security and medical protocols.

Earlier, a preliminary report detailing Imran Khan’s health condition and the medical care being provided to him in custody was submitted to the Punjab Home Department. The report included a complete record of his vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, body temperature, and blood sugar levels.

It was disclosed that on-duty doctors examine Imran Khan’s vital signs three times daily, with all observations systematically documented to ensure continuous monitoring.

Meanwhile, security arrangements outside Adiala Jail were further tightened on Sunday following reports of an ambulance entering the prison premises through Gate No. 5, prompting heightened alertness among law enforcement agencies.
