NEW DELHI: (Web Desk) – In the fourth match of the T20 World Cup, New Zealand secured a 5-wicket victory against Afghanistan in Chennai, India. Afghanistan batted first after winning the toss, posting a competitive total of 182/6 in their 20 overs.
Chasing 183, the Kiwis reached the target in the 18th over, led by Tim Seifert’s 65 runs and Glenn Phillips’ 42 runs. Daryl Mitchell (25)* and Mitchell Santner (17)* remained not out, ensuring a comfortable finish for New Zealand.
