CDA Holds Community Organic Market to Promote Healthy Lifestyles

Islamabad — The Capital Development Authority (CDA) successfully organized a Community Organic Market at F-7 Gol Market, which received an encouraging response from citizens, particularly families.
The initiative aimed to provide residents with access to healthy, organic, and high-quality food products while promoting community interaction in a family-friendly environment. Alongside various organic food stalls, special recreational and educational activities were arranged for children, making the event enjoyable for both parents and kids.
Islamabad High Court Stops CDA from Cutting Trees
Participants appreciated the initiative, terming it a positive step toward promoting a healthy lifestyle and family-oriented recreation. Parents noted that such events help develop social awareness among children and provide families with a safe and pleasant space to spend quality time together.
According to Dr. Anum Fatima, Chief Officer of the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad, the core objective of such initiatives is to strengthen social connections and bring people closer together. She emphasized that community-based events play a vital role in fostering mutual trust, interaction, and community spirit, which are the foundations of a healthy society.
CDA officials stated that the authority aims to encourage families to visit parks and public spaces, thereby promoting healthy community building. CDA reaffirmed its commitment to organizing similar activities in the future to make Islamabad a healthier, more vibrant, and family-friendly city.
