PCB Offers Pakistan Venues for Bangladesh T20 World Cup Matches

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shown willingness to host Bangladesh’s matches during the ICC T20 World Cup, according to sources familiar with the matter.

PCB officials say that if venues in Sri Lanka are unavailable, Pakistan is fully prepared to step in and host the fixtures. Sources added that Pakistan’s stadiums are ready and capable, citing the country’s successful hosting of the Champions Trophy and the ICC Women’s Qualifier as proof of its preparedness.

According to PCB insiders, all major venues meet international standards and can host T20 World Cup matches without any logistical or security issues. Bangladesh, meanwhile, has reportedly decided against travelling to India for its World Cup games due to security concerns raised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has yet to make a final decision on relocating Bangladesh’s matches and is still reviewing available options.
