ISLAMABAD – Wrestling superstar John Cena, regarded as one of the greatest stars in WWE history, officially retired from in-ring competition after a 23-year career, following his final match at WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.

In his farewell match, Cena was defeated by the powerful current wrestler Gunther via submission (sleeper hold). The event took place at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C., with over 19,000 fans in attendance. Cena fought valiantly throughout the match and held on until the final moments, but Gunther’s technical skill and strength forced him to submit.

This marked a historic loss in Cena’s career, as it was the first time in 20 years that he had been defeated by submission. The moment left fans both in the arena and worldwide emotional, with a prolonged standing ovation honoring Cena’s remarkable career.
