Seven Militants Linked to Indian-Backed Fitna Al Khwarij Killed in North Waziristan Operations
Sanitisation efforts are now underway to clear the region of any remaining militants linked to the Indian-backed group.
ISLAMABAD: Seven militants affiliated with the Indian-sponsored outfit Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in two intelligence-based operations carried out by Pakistani security forces in North Waziristan on December 1.
According to security officials, the first operation was launched in the Mir Ali area after confirmed reports of militant presence. During an intense exchange of fire, security troops traced and eliminated six militants.
A second operation was conducted in the Spinwam area, where another militant was neutralised following a brief gunfight.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist attacks targeting Pakistan’s security forces, law enforcement agencies and civilians.

Sanitisation efforts are now underway to clear the region of any remaining militants linked to the Indian-backed group.
Authorities said a robust counterterrorism drive is ongoing under the national vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. Security forces and law enforcement agencies are operating at full capacity to eliminate terrorism from the country.
