UN Chief Urges Protection for Palestinians as Global Solidarity Day Observed
Thousands of people in London held a rally to show solidarity with Palestinians and protest Israeli aggression in Gaza.
ISLAMABAD: On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres highlighted ongoing Israeli military operations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Guterres condemned the killings of Palestinians, repeated displacement, and obstruction of humanitarian aid in the West Bank, calling these actions “unacceptable.” He urged all parties to fully respect the recent ceasefire and allow large-scale humanitarian assistance into Gaza.
The UN chief also reiterated the demand to end the illegal occupation of Palestinian land and emphasized the need for irreversible progress toward a two-state solution.

Meanwhile, thousands of people in London held a rally to show solidarity with Palestinians and protest Israeli aggression in Gaza. Demonstrators marched from Hyde Park to Whitehall, chanting slogans against Israel and in support of Palestinian rights.
Protesters called on the government to halt arms sales to Israel and urged the international community to facilitate access for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
