Pakistan Reaffirms Solidarity with Palestinians at UN, Calls for Concrete Global Action

NEW YORK: At the United Nations on Tuesday, Pakistan reaffirmed its steadfast support for the Palestinian people, urging the international community to fulfill its commitments to them.

Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, briefed the Security Council on the situation in the Middle East, highlighting the ongoing Palestinian crisis. He noted that for over two years, the world has witnessed a devastating war in Gaza, causing immense suffering to the Palestinian people.

Ambassador Asim Iftikhar emphasized the resilience of the Palestinian population under unimaginable hardships and called on the global community to demonstrate equal conviction. He stressed that the commitments made to the Palestinian people must now be translated into tangible actions.
