A major meeting to find solutions for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s safety.

Political leaders set aside differences for a united peace jirga in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to address the spike in terrorism.

KP Peace Jirga – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – A major peace meeting is happening today in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Local political leaders have come together to find solutions to the growing violence. This urgent meeting follows several recent terrorist attacks across the country.

Just yesterday, a deadly blast in the federal capital killed at least twelve people. In a separate attack in Dera Ismail Khan, a bomb hit a security forces’ convoy, injuring at least fourteen personnel. Earlier this week, terrorists also attacked a college in South Waziristan. While all students were safely rescued and the attackers were killed, three brave individuals lost their lives during the operation.

Politicians from all major parties are attending this special peace jirga. A leader from the PPP praised the decision, calling the poor law and order the province’s biggest problem. He noted that this is the first time such a meeting is being held at the provincial assembly level, representing the will of millions.

Leaders from all parties unite for a single goal: peace in the region.

Before the meeting, a senior PTI leader stated, “Peace is more important for us than politics.” He welcomed the participation of all parties, including the opposition. The goal is to create a unified national policy on terrorism and present their demands to the federal government. He also stressed the need for peaceful talks with Afghanistan, linking the two countries’ stability.

Foreign Minister vows to defeat terrorism despite recent cowardly attacks.

A PML-N leader echoed this sentiment, confirming they have set aside their differences with the PTI for this cause. He firmly stated that there should be no negotiations with terrorists and no pardon for those who have killed innocent children. Everyone is hopeful that this gathering will lead to a positive outcome for the province’s safety.
