Speculation about trouble in Malik’s marriage with Sana Javed arose after a video went viral on social media

ISLAMABAD: Renowned Pakistani cricketer and former captain Shoaib Malik has strongly denied rumors of separation from actress Sana Javed, calling the reports “nonsense.”

In a recent interview, Malik said, “Alhamdulillah, my married life is going very well. Sana and I just posted fresh pictures from a trip to California on Instagram today. These rumors are completely baseless.”

Malik further clarified that he currently resides in Karachi and remains busy with his professional commitments. He criticized Indian media, accusing it of deliberately targeting Pakistani celebrities by spreading false scandals. “They try to defame us with these fabricated stories. There is absolutely no truth to these claims,” he stated.

Speculation about trouble in Malik’s marriage with Sana Javed arose after a video went viral on social media, showing the couple seated apart and seemingly distant at a public event. This led fans and media outlets to question the status of their relationship.

Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed tied the knot in January 2024, shortly after his divorce from Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. Prior to Sania, Malik was married to Ayesha Siddiqui for eight years. His marriage to Sania Mirza began in 2010 and their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, was born in 2018. However, the couple officially separated in 2024.
