This happens at the same time former US President Donald Trump planned a key meeting. The goal was to discuss plans for rebuilding Gaza after the war ends.
Officials stressed the immediate need for a united plan. They want to help people get food and water, fix damaged buildings, and aid civilians hurt by the fighting. They must also handle the region’s tricky politics and security issues.

Israel faces growing pressure from around the world to stop its long campaign in Gaza. The United Nations has stated that a famine is now occurring there. One resident from northern Gaza said he had to flee immediately after a warning from a drone. He told news media that his family was left on the streets with nowhere safe to go. The UN believes nearly a million people are currently in the area around Gaza City.
Donald Trump’s special envoy said the former president would host a meeting at the White House. The purpose was to create a detailed plan for Gaza after the war. The envoy called it a “very comprehensive plan” but did not share specifics. Earlier this year, Trump suggested the US should take over Gaza, remove its people, and rebuild it, an idea that caused global alarm but was praised by Israel’s leader.
In a neighborhood in Gaza City, people reported heavy bombing overnight. One woman said warplanes and drones were firing all night. She explained that while some neighbors have run away, it feels like “death follows you” no matter where you go.
