Pakistan Has Video Proof of Downed Indian Jets, Says Interior Minister
Naqvi praised Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir’s strategic leadership during the conflict.
ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi revealed on Friday that Pakistan possesses clear video evidence of all six Indian aircraft that were downed during the recent conflict with India. Speaking at an official ceremony, Naqvi emphasized that Pakistan had deliberately delayed the announcement until concrete visual proof was obtained from the field.
“Our decision was clear: no official confirmation would be made until we had undeniable evidence,” he stated. “While radar detection had already confirmed the crashes, field-level visual confirmation was essential. Interestingly, our intelligence gathered video evidence even before Indian media could report it.”
Naqvi praised Pakistan’s intelligence agencies for playing a critical, behind-the-scenes role throughout the conflict. “They operated silently but effectively, exposing every deceptive move made by the Indian side. Yet, unfortunately, there are still people who continue to criticize our agencies,” he added.
According to the Interior Minister, Pakistan’s intelligence apparatus was instrumental in monitoring and countering India’s “malicious plans” during the war. “Our agencies ensured that we were always one step ahead,” he said, calling their role central to Pakistan’s success.
He also pointed to divine intervention during the conflict, recalling an incident where India fired seven rockets at a key Pakistani airbase. “People were extremely concerned, as valuable assets were stationed there. But none of the missiles reached their target—some fell short, others veered off course. Not a single one hit the base.”
Naqvi praised Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir’s strategic leadership during the conflict. “His approach was exceptional. Our forces successfully targeted critical military installations within India,” he noted.
The minister also named Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Home Minister Amit Shah as key figures behind the “Pahalgam drama,” adding that their actions would eventually prove disastrous for India. “Their dangerous roles are leading India down a destructive path.”
Naqvi disclosed that during the conflict, a high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia visited Pakistan in an effort to mediate between the two nations. “While Pakistan demonstrated unity across both political and military fronts, India’s leadership was visibly fractured,” he claimed.
On the issue of terrorism, the minister accused India of openly backing terrorist activities within Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan. “India has provided direct support to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which is responsible for numerous acts of terrorism,” he said.

Touching on the Kashmir issue, Naqvi reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering stance: “Until the Kashmiri people are granted their rightful freedom, Pakistan will continue its efforts. We will not allow India to escape its responsibilities on this matter.”
