Gold and Silver Prices Fall Again Across Pakistan Markets Today

Pakistan—(Special-Correspondent/Web Desk)—Gold and silver prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend for the sixth straight day on Saturday, August 16, 2025. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs900, reaching Rs356,200. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs771 to Rs305,384.

The global gold market also showed a small decline, with prices decreasing by $9 per ounce to reach $3,335. This minor fluctuation in the international market influenced local traders, adding to the continuing dip in Pakistan’s gold rates.

Silver prices in Pakistan mirrored the trend of gold, showing a noticeable decline. A tola of 24-karat silver fell to Rs4,031, while 10 grams of silver were priced at Rs3,455. Market analysts believe this decrease in silver and gold rates is linked to global economic factors and currency fluctuations.

Traders and investors are advised to monitor the market closely, as this consistent decline could present buying opportunities. Experts recommend checking daily updates from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association to stay informed on price changes.

Gold price drops by Rs1,000 to reach Rs357,100 per tola

Both gold and silver continue to play an important role in Pakistan’s investment landscape. Despite recent drops, precious metals remain a reliable option for long-term savings and wealth protection.
