Green Flag Will Fly Over Srinagar and Jammu; PM AJK
Terrorism Will Be Crushed Like Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs, Warns AJK PM
Islamabad-(Mudassar Iqbal)-Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, has said that Kashmir Martyrs’ Day holds historic significance in the freedom movement of the Kashmiri people. In his special message on the occasion, the Prime Minister remarked that certain events in the life of a nation become defining milestones.
July 13, 1931, is one such day when the Kashmiri people rose against autocratic rule and raised their voices in protest against the tyrannical actions of the Dogra Maharaja. That year, the Dogra regime’s oppression had reached its peak, targeting Muslims through exploitation, disrespect towards mosques and the Holy Quran, denial of land ownership rights, and the imposition of exorbitant taxes. Speaking out against the regime was met with brutal suppression.
AJK Assembly Presents Tax-Free, Balanced Budget
On July 13, 1931, during a public gathering in protest against the Maharaja’s rule, when the time for prayer arrived, a man stood up to call the adhan (Islamic call to prayer). Before he could finish, Dogra forces shot him dead. One by one, 22 men stood up to complete the adhan, and each was martyred in turn. All were shot in the chest—none turned their backs. This unmatched courage and sacrifice remain unparalleled in history.
The Prime Minister expressed firm belief that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will bear fruit, and that the day is not far when occupied Kashmir will be free from Indian oppression. He added that the love Kashmiris have shown for Pakistan through their sacrifices will one day be realized, and the green crescent flag will fly over Srinagar and Jammu, as the entire state of Jammu and Kashmir becomes part of Pakistan. The Azad government is fully committed to this mission.

Law is equal for everyone, and the Prime Minister himself is answerable to the public.
These remarks were made during a meeting with Amjad Chaudhry, President of the All Kashmir Newspapers Society (AKNS), in which media-related issues, government initiatives, and development policies were discussed in detail.
The Prime Minister stated that special attention has been given to the development of underprivileged areas and fair distribution of resources across the state. Efforts such as the digitization of the Inland Revenue Department, automation of the tax system through collaboration with CBR and PRAL, and the implementation of the Point of Sale (POS) system have brought transparency, accuracy, and efficiency to financial management.

AJK PM Condemns Brutal Killing of Passengers in Balochistan, Blames Indian Proxies
In addition, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq strongly condemned the brutal killing of passengers in Balochistan, where terrorists forcibly removed travelers from buses in Zhob district’s Dabra Sarh Daki area and mercilessly murdered nine innocent passengers after identifying them as being from Punjab.
He described the act as cowardly and inhumane, declaring that such attacks are part of Indian proxy operations aimed at disrupting peace and national unity in Pakistan. He warned that if the Modi government continues to carry out terrorism through its proxies, Pakistan’s armed forces, under the dynamic leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, will give a crushing response even within Indian territory, one that would be remembered for generations.
He assured the bereaved families that the people and government of Azad Kashmir stand with them in this time of grief. He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, patience for their families, and swift recovery for the injured. The Prime Minister concluded that the entire nation is united against terrorism, and no act of brutality or sabotage by the enemy can weaken Pakistan’s resolve for peace, tolerance, and brotherhood. The fight against terrorism will continue until it is completely eradicated.
