U.S. Condemns School Bus Attack in Balochistan, Expresses Solidarity with Victims

ISALAMABAD: The United States has strongly condemned the recent attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, which claimed the lives of innocent children and left others injured.
In an official statement, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker described the assault as “brutal” and “unconscionable,” joining Pakistani leaders in denouncing the act of violence.
“The murder of innocent children is beyond comprehension. We grieve with the families who lost loved ones, and our thoughts are with those recovering,” Baker said. She stressed that no child should ever have to fear going to school and reaffirmed the United States’ support for efforts in Pakistan to end such violence.
