Pakistan on verge of speedy economic recovery: Atta Tarar

Tarar Highlights Challenges and Blessings Behind Pakistan's Stabilization

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar expressed optimism on Saturday regarding Pakistan’s economic recovery, stating that the country is on the verge of a swift economic rebound.

Speaking in Wazirabad, Tarar reflected on the challenges Pakistan has faced over the years and credited the PML-N for being given the opportunity to lead the country during difficult times. “Whenever Pakistan has faced hardships, the Higher Power has given opportunity to the PML-N to come into power,” Tarar remarked.

He also highlighted the significant turnaround in the nation’s economic situation, recalling that just two years ago, there were fears of Pakistan defaulting on its financial obligations. “Two years back, it had been said that the country was on the verge of default,” he said.

Tarar acknowledged the role of certain elements that had previously harmed the country’s progress but emphasized the blessings and support from the Higher Power, which, according to him, have helped stabilize the country. “There are some elements that harmed the country. However, the Higher Power has shown his blessings on the country within one year,” he added.
