Lahore Police Encounter Results in Death of Four Suspected Robbers
Lahore-(Staff Reporter): A police encounter in Lahore’s Green Town area led to the death of four suspected robbers. The incident unfolded when police raided the area to arrest the suspects, who responded by opening fire on the officers.
In the ensuing gunfight, all four suspects were killed. Two police officers, including the Station House Officer (SHO) and a constable, were injured by the robbers’ gunfire.
Authorities confirmed that the suspects were allegedly involved in multiple bank robberies and had committed several crimes, including one in the Industrial Estate just days before the encounter.
The police have identified three of the deceased suspects as Rizwan, Zain, and Ali. Their bodies have been sent for autopsy, and efforts to apprehend any remaining accomplices are ongoing.
