Bushra Bibi Breaks Down in Court Over Injustice Claims
Wife of Former Prime Minister Imran Khan Expresses Willingness to Face Jail Time

Islamabad-(Staff Reporter): Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, broke down in tears during a session at the Islamabad Sessions Court on Monday, expressing her belief that justice is not being served and that she did not seek it for herself.
She expressed her readiness to go to jail, mentioning that her personal items were in her vehicle and that she would abide by the court’s decisions.
During the proceedings, Bushra Bibi shared that she has endured nine months of injustice. Overcome with emotion, she stated that both she and Imran Khan have been victims of unfair treatment throughout Pakistan.
She also criticized the lawyers involved, claiming they are merely prolonging the process and that the judicial system is failing to acknowledge the humanity of those affected. She concluded by announcing her decision not to return to the court, citing ongoing injustices.
The court has reserved its decision on a bail application submitted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi. The court is currently evaluating a request for bail in one case while instructing the jail superintendent to facilitate their appearance via video link for hearings related to six additional cases against Mr. Khan.
