Sajid Khan Prioritizes Victory Over Personal Milestones in Third Test

Rawalpindi-(Sports Reporter): Pakistan off-spinner Sajid Khan stated on Thursday that winning is more important than personal records.

Speaking to the media after the first day of the third Test at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Khan expressed his appreciation for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), saying, “I’m thankful to the PCB for ensuring spinners have something to work with on the pitch.”

He noted the difference in conditions compared to the Multan pitch, adding, “The pitch here in Rawalpindi plays differently from the one in Multan.”

Khan also acknowledged the valuable support of fellow spinner Noman Ali, saying, “Noman Ali’s vast experience has been crucial, and he continues to guide me.”

Reflecting on Pakistan’s position at the close of play, Khan explained, “Our initial plan was to lose just one wicket by the end of the day, but we lost three. Still, we believe a strong partnership will help us post a competitive first-innings total.”
