The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,800, reaching Rs276,200 on Friday, compared to its previous price of Rs274,400 from the last trading session.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw an increase of Rs1,543, climbing to Rs236,797 from Rs235,254, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose to Rs217,064 from Rs215,650, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $18, rising to $2,660 from $2,642, the association reported.
