Passenger and Goods Transport Services Benefit from Reduced Rates

Multan- 2% Fare Cut Announced for Multan’s Passenger and Goods Transport. In response to the recent drop in petroleum prices, Multan’s district administration has announced a 2 percent reduction in commercial fares for both passenger and goods transport.

Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Secretary Mohsin Nisar explained, “Following discussions with transporters and under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioner of Multan, we have implemented a 2% fare reduction. This decrease applies to both passenger and goods transport services.”

Petrol Price Slashed by Rs1.86, Diesel by Rs3.32 Per Litre

This initiative by the district administration has made travel more affordable for residents.

A local passenger shared, “I often travel to Vahari. The fare was previously four hundred rupees, but it’s now been reduced by Rs50. However, the reduction for AC vehicles hasn’t been enough.”

Residents are urging the government to lower petroleum prices further to provide additional relief.
