A news outlet has confirmed that Sajal Aly will star alongside South Indian superstar Prabhas in the forthcoming film **‘Fauji’**, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Prabhas, who recently earned international recognition for his role in **‘Kalki 2898 AD’**, has a packed lineup of releases and sequels ahead. Anticipation is high to see how his on-screen dynamic with Sajal Aly will develop in this eagerly awaited film. The title hints that **‘Fauji’** will focus on a narrative revolving around India’s armed forces.

Initially, there were speculations about Mrunal Thakur, known for her role in ‘Sita Ramam’, being cast as the female lead. However, it has now been confirmed that Pakistani actress Sajal Aly will take on this prominent role.

Director Hanu Raghavapudi has shared that the film will be a period action drama set in a historical context. The story is described as a unique romantic narrative set against the backdrop of war, taking place prior to India’s independence.

There are also rumors that Prabhas might portray a British soldier in the movie. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, ‘Fauji’ is expected to have a substantial budget. Pre-production is progressing swiftly, with Vishal Chandrasekhar composing the soundtrack. Three songs have already been recorded, and extensive sets are being constructed in Hyderabad.

Shooting for the project is slated to begin in September, with an official announcement anticipated soon. Sajal Aly, one of Pakistan’s top actresses, made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with ‘Mom’, starring alongside the late Sridevi. Fans are excited about the potential on-screen chemistry between Sajal and Prabhas, although formal confirmation is still awaited.
