CM Punjab directs to submit detailed PC-1 of all development projects by July 15

Lahore; Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has issued directives for the submission of PC One for all schemes by July 15, emphasizing transparency, quality, and strict deadline adherence in project execution across the province.

Chairing a meeting of the Planning and Development Board, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif meticulously reviewed the Annual Development Program 2024-25. She underscored the importance of timely project completion and was briefed on initiatives including the introduction of ambulances at every motorway interchange in Punjab.

The meeting highlighted 106 development projects supported by foreign institutions, alongside detailed presentations on schemes ranging from district-level to provincial initiatives. Notable projects like the Sahiwal to Saharani and Bahawalnagar to Jhangra Eastern Interchange Road are set to commence by August 13, with others in Faisalabad, Chiniot, and Sargodha starting construction activities soon.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to develop a real-time monitoring dashboard for all projects, ensuring effective oversight. She also sanctioned an immediate release of Rs 400 million for ongoing development efforts, stressing efficient fund utilization.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister instructed for the quarterly release of 25% of the universal health insurance fund and expedited measures for health center renovations and construction. Maryam Nawaz affirmed Punjab’s commitment to timely project completion, questioning expenditures on vehicles and offices in comparison to essential infrastructure like hospitals.

As Punjab gears up for extensive development undertakings, Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s proactive leadership aims to elevate transparency and efficiency in the province’s developmental agenda.
