Rescue 1122 Sahiwal responded to 693 emergencies in 03 days of Eid-ul-Fitr. District Emergency Officer Dr. Khalid Abdullah
Sahiwal: Rescue 1122 Sahiwal actively involved in establishing a safe society. Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 Sahiwal received 2851 calls during the 03 days of Eid. Out of which 693 were emergency calls. Rescue 1122 Sahiwal responded to the 693 emergency calls, road traffic crashes 126, medical emergencies, 511 fire incidents 09, crime calls 18. And 11 different events are included. Rescue 1122 Sahiwal has rescued and shifted 718 people to different hospitals while maintaining its response time. 331 people were given first aid on the spot. And 13 people died in different incidents. Rescue 1122 Sahiwal by motorbike ambulance service responded timely to 284 emergencies during Eid days, 252 patients were given first aid, out of which 51 patients were shifted to nearby hospital by ambulance.
On this occasion, District Emergency Officer Dr. Khalid Abdullah congratulated the staff of Rescue 1122 Sahiwal for their excellent performance and said that keeping in mind the peace and order situation in the country, the points and orders raised during the Eid-ul-Fitr series of the District Emergency Board meeting should be implemented.

Rescue 1122 is an emergency service that serves Punjab Province, KPK Province, Balochistan Province, Sindh Province, Gilgitbaltistan Province and Azad Kashmir Republic in Pakistan. The service is accessed by calling 1122 from any phone in Pakistan.
Initially it was established under the 2006 Punjab Emergency Service (Pervaiz Elahi was the Chief Minister of Punjab) Act to provide management of emergencies such as fire, rescue and emergency medical services. The Punjab Emergency Council and District Emergency Boards have been constituted to ensure management and prevention of emergencies and to recommend measures for mitigation of hazards endangering public safety. Dr Rizwan Naseer is the current Director General of Rescue 1122 Pakistan.
