ISLAMABAD – Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong has reaffirmed the strong strategic partnership between Pakistan and China, highlighting that 90% of projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) have been successfully completed.
Speaking at a high-level seminar, Ambassador Jiang emphasized that achieving success under CPEC is of utmost importance for both countries. He acknowledged the existing security challenges but expressed confidence that they will be addressed in due time, enabling the long-term benefits of CPEC to reach the broader region.
He lauded the counter-terrorism cooperation between Pakistan and China, stating that such collaboration is vital to ensure sustainable development. “Challenges in development can be tackled by accelerating growth and working together,” he added, noting the strong support of the Pakistani public for CPEC initiatives.
