7th Annual Asian Food and Restaurant Awards International announced to take place on 5th December 2022

Abdulrehman Ashraf  _The coveted Asian Food and Restaurant Awards (AFRA) is delighted to announce the much anticipated seventh, annual entry on the UK’s hospitality and events calendar, taking place in London on Monday 5th December 2022 at Montcalm Hotel, Marble Arch, London.

The event will continue to pay homage to the leading lights of the Asian hospitality, services and supplier sectors amid a who’s who guest list of ministers, VIP’s, dignitaries, celebrities and Asian restaurateurs and suppliers from across the UK.

Following a difficult and challenging times due to Covid in 2019/2020. We continued to recognize and support the industry and remarkable unity within the industry towards our beloved NHS Hero’s. This was marked by a special message from our Chairman Mr. A-Haq and shields and certificates went out to the heroes of our Restaurant, Food and Drinks industry and community. The great initiative of 1 Million meals to the NHS was a commendable exercise of humanity.

We will continue to recognize the achievements and contribution being made by South Asians across the UK food and hospitality industries.

Each business tells its own success story through its service and products that should be applauded. The Awards aim to celebrate these special stories as well as honor the dedication and commitment of those who have spread their love for Asian flavors through their commitment to take the tastes and culinary culture mainstream.

As well as honoring the best Asian restaurants regionalized across the UK, AFRA additional award categories comprise: Covid Humanitarian of the Year, Newcomer of the Year; Chef of the Year; Cash and Carry of the Year; Food Products and Supplier of the Year; Organic Food Products and Distributor of the Year; Brand of the Year; Caterer of the Year; Drink Brand of the Year; and the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award.
