While acknowledging hockey’s glorious past, he noted the decline the sport has faced in recent years due to various challenges. To revive and promote hockey, the Pakistan Navy, in collaboration with the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), has been organizing this tournament since 2016 as a symbol of national unity. The 3rd edition of the tournament, held in Karachi in 2021, received widespread acclaim.

This year, eight top teams will compete, including Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, Mari Engineers, Rangers, Police, Port Qasim, and National Bank of Pakistan. Rear Admiral Azmie said the tournament will provide an excellent platform for players to showcase their talents, inspire youth, and deliver thrilling contests for hockey fans.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, along with special awards for Best Player, Top Scorer, and Best Goalkeeper of the tournament. He extended sincere thanks to the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Sports Board Punjab, sponsors, and the management of National Hockey Stadium Lahore for their continued support in organizing the event.

The 4th CNS All Pakistan Hockey Tournament promises to be a celebration of Pakistan’s rich hockey heritage and a significant step towards revitalizing the sport across the country.
