3 Killed, 5 Injured as Gunmen Open Fire on Vehicle in Gwadar

Gwadar – (Web Desk) – Armed gunmen open fire in Gwadar, killing three people and leaving five others with serious injuries after attacking a moving vehicle. Police rushed to the scene as soon as the report came in and immediately transported the victims to the nearest hospital for emergency treatment.

This is not the first time Gwadar has witnessed such a brutal act of violence. Back in April 2026, another deadly shooting claimed three lives in the same district, including a man of Iranian nationality. That attack took place near the Pleary Link Road area, a route the victims were simply passing through when motorcycle-riding attackers suddenly opened fire, killing all three of them on the spot.

Law enforcement arrived at the Pleary area shortly after receiving the alert and moved the bodies to Gwadar District Hospital. Authorities have launched investigations into both incidents, though no arrests have been reported so far.

The back-to-back attacks have raised serious concerns among local residents about security conditions in the coastal city. Gwadar, already under the spotlight due to its significance under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, continues to face threats from unknown armed groups targeting civilians without warning.

Residents and families of the victims are calling on authorities to take swift and firm action to bring the culprits to justice and prevent further bloodshed in the city.
